Selecting nodes

To select nodes, choose the Select tool from the XSheet toolkit, and scroll the XSheet so you can see the nodes' columns; see Viewing the XSheet. You can:

• Select a single node by clicking on its node name.

• Select multiple nodes by dragging a bounding box around their node names.

• Add unselected nodes to your selection by holding down the Shift key and either clicking on their node names, or dragging a bounding box around them.

• Remove selected nodes from your selection by holding down the Shift key and either clicking on their node names, or dragging a bounding box around them.

You can also select a node in the XSheet by selecting the corresponding node in the Scene Graph panel (see Selecting nodes), or by selecting the corresponding border in the Drawing Window (see Selecting nodes in the Drawing Window). When you do this, the XSheet automatically scrolls to show the selected node.

Selecting columns

You select columns in the same way as nodes, but use their column names instead of the node names.
